Steel Guitar is a continuation of my work with fragments of steel rod as well as a continuation of the concept of interconnectedness. While there are many reasons for global citizens to feel polarized from one another, music is one of the only things that is universally experienced and enjoyed. We have seen music bring a great many people together in the past, and we should remember that it is one way to connect with one another despite other major differences.
