Having grown up with diplomat parents, my life has been unusually nomadic. My family moved from government-leased house to house, all furnished with the same unattractive furniture. This piece was made not only as a play on the concept of indoors brought outdoors, but also to reflect on my travels and feeling of displacement inspired by them.
