For UD students, move-out season is a time of excitement,
stress, and unparalleled wastefulness. It is not unusual to see entire bedroom
and living room sets left on curbs or taken away by for-profit junk removal
services.
CURB ALERT is a
social event to connect students and residents alike with resources for
donating unwanted items to local organizations for redistribution. The project
aims to intersect awareness and action, engaging the campus community on an
accessible platform to create a shared experience that is at once social and
didactic.
