Stormy Weather: a hydroelectric installation
This interactive exhibit was my first time working with water, electricity, and non-studio lights as well as alternative materials. It centers upon a suspended cloud made of polyfill over a metal frame that conceals the water mechanism that makes the cloud rain. My intention was to bring the calamity of a storm into a concealed space and tackle the engineering complexities of electricity and water, as well as frame it within a dark fantasy aesthetic nuance within which most of my work resides.
