Natural Selection has made the human community successfully adapted to the environment becoming the dominant species on planet earth. The genetic development of intelligence through thousands of generations of evolution has given the human organism the edge to reproduce, reaching almost all corners of the planet. Scientist estimate that earth’s farm-able land can produce enough food for about 10 billion people. In the year 1800 the human population was at about 0.9 billion and by the year 1900 the population almost doubled to 1.65 billion. In the year 2000 the surface population of humans exploded to 6.1 billion due to technology, human behavior and favorable conditions. It is estimated that the human population will reach 10 billion by the year 2050 which could be the tipping point causing wide famine and suffering for all living things on earth. 

As a race, humans have no choice but to explore and colonize the planets in space as the early explorers did. The moon is the closest piece of real state that humans can experiment with to colonize. 

It is inevitable that humans build communities on the moon and ultimately throughout the galaxies in space to survive and follow the natural instincts to explore. It will not take long before developers build and sell properties on the moon and other planets. As humans and other earth’s species that are shuttled to settle in space through human technology, mutation in the alleles of organisms will generate Changes in DNA to help adapt to the new environment. The continued process of natural selection and the evolution of organisms will evolve to branch into new species and the molecular clocks will continue ticking.
