Plush Vessel
2018
MDF board, soy wax, electrical wire
7' x 5' x 5"

This piece calls into question our ability to give structured form to viscous materials. MDF sets a geometric boundary to the motion of pooling liquids. The melted wax acts as a captured moment in time; frozen. As if capturing a pool of water in your hands. As a whole the piece begs the question of what things in life we try to control and further more what we have the ability to affect.
