Industrial: Steam is a question mark on the idea of what art can and should be. With the creation of new technologies that pollute, along comes discussion of environmental concerns. The justification of such pollution is usually the advantage of being able to travel long distances in short period of time, or create massive amounts of energy to simplify our lives. In a world of practicality and "end-justifed-by-means" thinking, is art enough of a "means" to create pollution?

This work is about my childhood idols, British pop-stars; The Spice Girls. They represent "Girl Power" and the material sweets of life. These shoes are made out of and caked in mud. They are dirty and cracked. They do not fit and they are too short. Moving on.
