Progression Z - James Denver
Aptly named 'Progression Z' If you are looking for meaning in this sculpture, look to its surroundings. David Meyer described it as 'jewelry-like' in his attempt to convey the idea that it was a 'touch' to a greater whole. The large grass around this steel piece make up the already existing. This piece was meant to bring eye to the grass, its tranquility and indifference. There is much to be learned in life from what is unconscious; plants.

Wood
This piece is still in progress to be finished. What was going to be at first a time-based installation comprised of four wooden mountains, has become a single montain that will be enclosed and in which small enviroment (through the use of dioramas) will be recreated.
It is hard sometimes to keep track of time, and mostly when your body and brain do not agree.

wood, bolts, and paint

PN 0607 is a product of its connections. Wooden pieces are bolted together in order to form two separate objects. These objects are arranged together to create an entirely new form. Text is stamped on the wood, directing the builder in how to connect and form these useless objects. PN 0607 is a hand built object assembled by an abundance of directions.
